Depoe Bay, Oregon: Bed and Breakfast on the Pacific Ocean
A friendly and delicious stay with hosts Bob and Mary at this tucked away B&B…
[2016 update: Bob and Mary no longer run the Pana-Sea-Ah, but it’s still there, and they’re still getting rave reviews from other visitors. Tell us what you think if you go.]
PANA-SEA-AH BED AND BREAKFAST – where the hospitality is heartfelt and the “Free Game Bar” is always stocked with sweets.
When my parents came to travel with us in New Zealand at the end of 2012, they told Ted and me over and over that we must come meet Bob and Mary at the Pana-Sea-Ah Bed and Breakfast on the Oregon coast. Their descriptions did the place justice: the calm home and ocean views, the gorgeous breakfasts and good company, and the proximity to the Lincoln City Fish Taco Cook-Off (um, yum) were just what the doctor ordered as I was about half-way through my pregnancy and ready to celebrate finding out we were expecting a little girl. I took my copy of fellow blogger Torre‘s book Love With a Chance of Drowning and enjoyed the break from job and house hunting and the transition home after a year abroad.
Our Favorite Memory: Chatting over breakfast with our parents and the other couple staying at the B&B for the weekend; reminiscing about past trips and sharing excitements over coming adventures.
