Where to Stay in Culver City, California

Airbnb Vacation Rental Culver City, California: Los Angeles

Our home base during a long weekend in Los Angeles: a sweet little garden cottage Airbnb rental that slept a few of our crew (during our six sibling surprise reunion!) and housed our evening meal under the stars.

CASITA ~ EL NIDO AMOUR
Culver City, California

Our Favorite Amenities: In a bustling big city, it was incredibly relaxing to come “home” to a mini retreat. Gardens, a bubbling fountain, orchids, and outdoor dining room right out the patio doors…
Setting: Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood just a very short drive (or walk, if you’re not traveling with a toddler) from food and entertainment.
Tips: Trader Joe’s is a quick trip away, making it very easy to stock up on supplies for an easy curry dinner.

Thank heavens for the miraculously easy travel crib! I’ve taken it to the desert and the tropics (and across Portland half a million times).

We’ve stayed at Airbnb spots in both hemispheres on multiple continents, and I can’t say enough how much I love finding little homes away from home. If you’ve never tried it before, here’s a little $35 off your first booking!

Casita ~ El Nido Amour – A lovely vacation rental in Culver City, California.

Gillian was one of the top hosts we’ve ever encountered with Airbnb: easy to communicate with, so kind and gracious. I’ll share a direct quote from our review: “The rose bushes were blooming and the backyard fountain was bubbling when we arrived on a Friday afternoon, and the rest of the weekend was a dream. Gillian’s generous spirit and sweet style gave the place extra charm — nice toiletries, blooming orchids, a yoga mat…she even left snacks and drinks and breakfast fixings in the fridge with a note to help ourselves! We stocked up on extra groceries at the nearby Trader Joe’s and enjoyed cooking meals and eating under the stars (and the little string lights!) at the outdoor dining table. Gillian made sure we were happy and comfortable; she left great information, and though we only saw her once, she was easily reachable by text to answer any questions. Every window looks to soothing green trees and shrubs, and staying in feels like living in a little mini oasis. My daughter (20 months old) loved walking around in the garden. Access to the city was super-easy when we felt like going out. (The driveway was tight little squeeze for our larger minivan, but it was so nice having off-the-street parking!) I’d book the spot again in a heartbeat, and I’d love to return! ”
